About the event
This trip is organized by the Giles County Community Remembrance Project. We are a locally-organized group working with the Equal Justice Initiative to memorialize the victims of racial terror lynching in our community. It is our hope that this visit to the Museum & Memorial can inform and energize local efforts to recognize our own difficult history in Giles County and the United States as a whole.
We are providing transportation in 15-passenger vans for anyone who has registered and would like to ride with the group. However, you are also welcome to travel in your own vehicle and join us at our entry time at 400 N Court St, Montgomery, AL.
Your $15 per person reservation fee goes directly toward purchasing your ticket to the Museum & Memorial, and offsetting the costs for gas and van rentals for our transportation.
